Catch Up!

At the end of September we closed on our house! It is so exciting to settle down and have a place to call our own. We love the neighborhood and my parents are around the corner which has been really nice!

We had fun carving our pumpkins with the Jason's cousins (isn't he cute?). We also found some pumpkins for Gus that are just his size. I was so excited to find a good white pumpkin this year, I love them.

Oh and a great tip I learned this year: Use the lid of a canning jar to scoop out the inside of your pumpkin, it's SO much easier than anything else!

Brooklyn turned 17!! I couldn't ask for a better sister and it's been so nice to live close to her. I'm getting sad thinking about her going to college but I remember how exciting that time was. Love you sis!

Kyle and Sheena found out they are having a baby GIRL! We are so excited to welcome the first Welch niece. I love being an aunt and am so excited for them. There has been a lot of shopping for pink around here...

My aunt and grandma visited and we had an awesome girl's weekend together. Shopping, sewing, movies, and good food were the main events. My favorite thing we did was a cooking class at Sur la Table. We made crispy scallop lollipops, pork loin roast, sweet potato gratin, and spicy collard greens. I know how to chop really well with a knife now :) Our chef was so much fun and I want to do it again soon. This is a great idea for a date night or for a group of friends, it's a blast.
