Jason had his 32nd birthday last Thursday. It was fun because the celebration was spread out throughout the week. Poor Jas had a lot of late nights at work last week so we went out to dinner with the family a few days before his actual birthday.
We celebrated really late on his actual birthday because he had a fancy work dinner to be at. Sorry the pictures are so dark, I really need to learn how to use our camera. He always requests Halloween themed birthday cakes so I spruced up this ice-cream cake. My mom found a fun Halloween cake stand to add to the theme. Jas wanted Gus to join in on the fun too :)
I love catching him in the middle of blowing out his candles, hehe. I wonder what he wished for...
For years, Jason has asked me to make him a Halloween quilt. I haven't had much time until this year so I finally did it. It was a little hard because Halloween isn't exactly "pretty" so I had a hard time finding fabric I could stand, haha. Each square has a full moon with a different Halloween themed silhouette in each one. The back is black with little skulls and crossbones.
He's standing on the ottoman so he could hold up the whole thing, haha. I think Gus liked it just as much as he did. He also got some awesome running shoes for a race we have coming up and a grill.
Happy Birthday to the best husband ever! Love you lots!
