Sweet Sixteen!

Last December Brooklyn turned 16! Unfortunately all the siblings are out here in Utah so we couldn't celebrate with her. My parents took her to the Nutcracker ballet and out to dinner. The highlight of her birthday was getting her own car! It was perfect because her school decided to allow sophomores to have reserved parking spaces right on her birthday!

She has liked VW Bugs since she was in 4th grade so this was meant to be. This car was also my best friend's car since our junior year of high school and they actually look a lot alike so it's pretty fitting!

The car changes color in the light, it looks white, yellow, or a lime green. It's super cute and she has a huge array of flowers to switch out of the vase they have by the steering wheel, hehe. At her high school her parking spot is between two boys who drive huge F150 trucks, so it's pretty cute seeing that little bug squeeze in there.

Happy Birthday to my sweet sister. She is so talented-

a tennis pro

a pianist

a straight-A student
(even in AP classes and she is on track to graduate a year early!)

a gourmet cook

very service and leadership oriented

loves animals and kids and is so good with them

a spiritual giant
(she has all of the scripture masteries memorized, never missed a day of early morning seminary and has read the Book of Mormon and Bible more than I have!)

Have a great year being 16, Brooklyn! Love you!!
